Church History
Ivy Chapel Christian Church was founded in 1874. The original church was an old schoolhouse that was positioned in the center of what is now the front of the cemetery. The land for the cemetery and church was donated by the Ivy family. In 1921 the sanctuary was constructed which is now the "Fellowship Hall" and classrooms and kitchen were added over the years. The existing sanctuary was built in 1975.
